Queer-Forward, BODY-POSITIVE Personal Training in Downtown Toronto and online!

Church of Sweat is a Queer, Trans and Non-Binary forward business.

We welcome anyone who vibes with us to come get sweaty regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, age, religion or ability. The Church of Sweat crew is a diverse and raging group of amazing folks. Queer-forward is about centering Queerness, Transgenderdness and body-positivity in a way that is not often done in fitness, gym, yoga or personal training settings. which is ridiculous. the church of sweat exists to help change that.

WITH CERTIFICATIONS IN PERSONAL TRAINING, YOGA AND MEDITATION (500HRS) and classical mat PILATES (125 hours) Along with A BACKGROUND IN PROFESSIONAL ATHLETICS and YEARS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, CRAIG (they/them) IS UNIQUELY POSITIONED TO HELP YOU REACH WHATEVER FITNESS GOALS YOU MAY HAVE IN A SAFE, EFFECTIVE AND FUN WAY.

Craig takes a trauma-informed, BODY-POSITIVE approach and seeks to support everyone in a way that suits their needs and desires.

it is critical for craig as a pansexual, non-binary (but also cis/het passing most of the time) person to just really underline that their personal training is a safe, fun, nutritive space for queer and trans-ness of all kinds. they see you, they feel you, they love and rage with you.

If this is you, we’d LOVE to hear from you and support your fitness journey in any way that we can.

  • “As a queer nonbinary person, personal training felt like a scary place to look for support getting comfortable in the gym, After chatting with craig briefly over the phone and now working with them for many months, they have totally reshaped my perception of fitness and the gym. I am now comfortable using so much equiptment in the gym and can feel the progress in my body and mind thanks to them!”

  • “I have never felt more supported and held in a yoga or exercise class as I have with craig…As a non-binary trans woman, Craig’s inherent understanding and care for queer and trans bodies is such an important factor to my comfort in exercise practice, and to have that combined with their years of experience, calming voice and beautiful radiant energy makes working with them a joy!”

  • “I was looking for a trainer who understood trans/queer bodies and a friend recommended Craig. From day one, Craig has been amazing. I’ve never been a gym person and didn’t feel comfortable going without knowledge. They have guided me and created a workout based on my needs and wants. Thay have been a great support, and I have felt very comfortable with them…I couldn’t be happier with my progress.”
